BETA  Mt2Guru is in active development. Features, tiers and pricing can still change before release.
Mt2Guru BETA

Everything the wiki knows, on the glass.

Mt2Guru is a Windows companion for Metin2. It watches your client the way you do — through the screen — and puts spawn maps, upgrade tables and live session data where you are already looking. No alt-tabbing to a wiki, no second monitor, no spreadsheet.

WINDOWS 10 / 11  ·  OFFICIAL SERVERS ONLY  ·  BETA, NOT YET PUBLICLY RELEASED

The one rule

It never reads game memory and never injects into the game process.

Everything Mt2Guru knows, it learns from screen capture and pattern recognition — the same pixels you are looking at. Nothing is hooked, nothing is patched, nothing is written into the client. That boundary is not a phase we plan to grow out of when a feature turns out to be hard without it; it is the thing that makes the app defensible, and some features are simply not built because they would cross it.

What it does

Built for the player with a wiki, a spreadsheet and a Discord open on the side

And for the multi-boxer running four clients who cannot possibly hold four respawn timers in their head.

Wiki overlays

Spawns on the minimap

Known metin and monster spawn locations drawn onto the map for the zone you are actually standing in.

Wiki overlays

Upgrade tables on hover

Hover an item and see its upgrade chance and the exact materials each step needs, without leaving the client.

Roster

Every client, in one table

Server, channel and character read off each client's own screen. The row at the top is always the client you are in.

Utility

One-click disconnect

Fast relog and channel change, done at the network layer — by cutting the client's connection, never by touching the game.

Reporting

Bot reports with context

Capture the evidence with server, channel, map and position already attached, and get a filled-in report to submit.

Session

Session stats that keep themselves

EXP per hour, yang per hour, kills and time on the map — counted while you play rather than typed into a sheet.

Official servers only. Mt2Guru supports the official Metin2 client and nothing else. Everything it knows it reads off the client's own HUD, and a private server with a reskinned interface is a different HUD — so rather than half-work there and quietly get things wrong, it does not support them at all. There is no plan to change that in the initial release.
Three ways to run it

Same features, three shells

Which one you use is a preference, not a different product. Pick the one that suits how you play.

A · Standalone

An ordinary window

A normal desktop app on your second monitor or behind the game. Works whether or not Metin2 is even running.

B · Attached

Docked to your client

A frameless panel that follows the focused client's position, size and z-order. Works windowed and borderless.

C · Overlay

Over the game itself

A click-through HUD on top of a borderless-fullscreen client — reached without a single line of code inside the game.

The overlay is only ever visible while a game client has focus. Alt-tab, the Windows key or a UAC prompt hides it immediately. An overlay that outlives focus is just a window covering your other applications, so we do not ship one.
The paid idea

Respawn timers that get better the more people use them

A respawn-timer network is worthless with one player and valuable with ten thousand. That is the whole shape of this product.

The free tier is how the network is built

While free users play, the app records which metin fell, when, on which server, channel and map. Those events aggregate into a timer graph nobody could build alone.

We would rather say that plainly here than bury it in a privacy policy. Anonymous aggregate analytics; no selling or exposing identifying data about anyone.

Paid tiers read the graph back

Respawn timers synced across your own clients, and across the network where the data supports it. Plus adds the event helper overlays — Okey, Catch the King, Profet Duel, Yut Nori.

Those helpers are assistive, never automatic. They read the board and show you the strong move. You play it.

Where it stands

What is built, and what comes next

Mt2Guru is in beta and is not yet publicly downloadable. This is honestly where things are.

    Planned
What it will never be

Not a bot, and not on a roadmap to becoming one

  • No unattended farming, combat or movement automation. Not in this release and not in a later one.
  • No memory reading and no process injection. Ever. It is the founding constraint, not a current limitation.
  • No overlay that persists when the game is not focused.
  • No selling or exposing personal data about players named in bot reports.
